Do you think that I will get into Boston University?

<p>Hey, I'm really worried about getting into BU. Its one of my top schools. This year I am a high school senior. </p>

<p>avg GPA is 3.55 (not weighted)</p>

<p>i have taken:
IB classes
AP classes
Honors classes </p>

<p>Organized my schools blood drive, class historian, volunteered at an animal hospital, run cross country and track for three years, swimming 2 years </p>

<p>SAT</p>

<p>math 620
writing 590
reading 580</p>

<p>I know that my SATs are kind of low and so is my GPA... Please tell me what you think. Thanks so much!</p>

<p>What is your class standing (ranking)? That’s as important as SATs and GPA.</p>

<p>I don’t think that is a low gpa considering it includes honors and ap’s. Also the rigor of your particular high school is taken into consideration.</p>

<p>Have you considered taking the ACT? It might be easier for you. If not, I’d definitely consider getting in the mid-high 600s for all your scores. Make sure you have strong essays and the rest of your application is legit!</p>

<p>Either get that SAT up or take the ACT. That is going to hinder you a lot until you get around the mid 600’s.</p>
