peskemom: DoDMERB sent our son a form to complete to "update" his info from last year- he did not mention getting another form for a repeat eye exam- did you get one?

Bill:
Unless I am mistaken, the limit of 30% applies to all midshipmen on any kind of medical waiver, not just vision.
CM

Last year I completed and passed by medical exam for 1) Regular check-up and 2) went to commissioned hospital to get my eye examined so both were done. I was disqualified on basis on my prior sports injury and received rebuttals for both so I hope I'm not forgetting any steps. Thanks everybody.
Oh yeah and Navy 2010, I was actually waiting quite a while for DoDMERB to send an "updated disqualification" but Academy Admissions said that they only notify DoDMERB if at least 75% of your application has been completed and since I will be 90% by end of this week, I hope to get it soon.

DodMERB sent all the forms we needed to respond to them in the snailmail version of the initial remedial report. And like I said - I found this stuff online after google searching

Yea, it wasn't too difficult. I my DODMERB status was update a few days ago and I'm medically qualified.

Congrats to you kiddo! The hurry up and wait process continues for all you hopeful '10 candidates, doesn't it!!

Got a question about waiver. I'm completely finished everything on the medical aspect except they've yet to grant me a waiver on my vision. I have -2.75/-3.00 vision and is it likely that the board will grant me one?
