Does a summer job count for admissions?

<p>Do colleges look positively on an applicant with a constant summer job through high school? Or does it not really matter?</p>

<p>Showing a bit of experience in the work force is always a good sign. Not as good as having a job during the school year but it is still something to mention in your app.</p>

<p>my applications gave me areas to write down work history. It can help a little</p>
