Does ACT do score choice???

If you just send in one ACT score despite taking it multiple times, do they see the rest, or are you good?
cuz i got a decent score on the one i took in february but i want to up my science score and take it again in september. but if that one doesn't go absolutely fabulous, is there any way they won't see it?
(i'm applying to Rice University Early Decision- i don't know if that helps)

ACT has always been score choice. In fact, except the free sends you get if you list on your application for the test colleges to which to send the score, ACT charges you a separate fee to send each score to each college. That does not necessarily assure the college won’t see all scores just that the ACT won’t reveal them unless you order them. Check with your high school because many put all your scores on your official high school transcript.

^Doesn’t that depend on whether or not you send them to your highschool in the first place?

Don’t most colleges only look at the highest sub score anyways? For example, U of Mich says that they only consider the highest ACT subscore. If I sent both my good and my sucky score, could that potentially hurt me or will I be okay?
