I have high As in all my math and science classes (all AP) but a low B in English. Would engineering colleges care about the english grade or would it make or break my admittance?

It is not as important as your mathematics and science but they still look at it carefully since good communications skills are important for engineers.

^What he said, I had around exactly what you had when I applied for colleges, high As in my math/sci classes, but low Bs in English/Humanities classes. They care much more about your math/science classes, but low English grades can make/break. For example a few of the reach schools I got turned down from, my stats were lower than the average applicant (mostly cause of English). Luckily, my dream school was a match school and not a reach.
