I submitted my application at the beginning of November to Pitt. I have checked the status of my application on the portal several times, but have not received any decision yet. However, today I received an email inviting me to apply to one of Pitt’s satellite campuses. Does this imply that I did not get into the main campus?
@CaptainMerika, That email is not part of a specific admissions decision. It is just something we send out that introduces students to our other campuses. Your official decision should come via email/letter shortly!

@hailtopitt1787 I received an acceptance email/letter last month, but the admissions portal just says my application is “complete”. Is it supposed to say “accepted”?
@Steglitz90, Congrats! Yes, it should indicate that you are admitted. You can feel free to contact our office to check on the status: 412-624-7488 or oafa@pitt.edu.

@hailtopitt1787 I submitted my application on November 1, and it has been three weeks already. I heard that the turnaround time is usually around two to three weeks. Should I be expecting a decision before the end of the month? Thanks!
@CaptainMerika, You should hear soon! But our office closed yesterday and today for Thanksgiving, so it may be end of Nov or early Dec. Best of luck!

After DD got accepted to Pitt Main she still got emails about satellite campuses. I wouldn’t read much into that yet.
