Does anybody have advice for transfer students?? Like me!?

<p>I'm applying to BC as a transfer student for the fall of 09. Currently I'm a freshman at Penn State and a finance major. I have a 3.94GPA but did TERRIBLE on my SAT's (1420 combined best scores). I'm applying to BC's Carroll School of Managment and have two problems, my terrible SAT scores and I'm currently in the prerequisite course for calculus. I'm not feeling real confident about my chances, does anyone have any suggestions that could help me in ANY way.</p>

<p>The problem is that it's very difficult to transfer to a more selective school as a sop. With only one semester of college, more emphasis will be placed on your HS record and test scores. It doesn't hurt to try this year, but a jr transfer would be a more realistic expectation.</p>

<p>Is your SAT I 1420/1600 or 1420/2400?</p>
