Does anyone else feel like you have SOOO much to do?

I am majorly overwhelmed. I feel like there is so much to do to prepare for starting school, but I'm still finishing this semester and working at my soul-sucking emotionally draining job full time+. I have wanted to go to Berkeley my entire life and now I'm so overwhelmed.
Does anyone else feel like there is just too much going on?

It just feels that way because we’re so close!!! Hang in there! You got this :)

I’ve felt that way a lot lately, too! I just HATE moving! AHHHHHH! I’ve bounced around so much the past couple of years! It’ll be good to finally get to live in the REAL Bay Area! I can’t wait!

no :frowning: i’m underwhelmed. someone give me something to do!

I concur. With school, work, and volunteering (all full time) as well as friends, I often feel drained to do homework. I also feel frustrated about keeping deadlines. Usually when a date approaches I go “Wait…something is coming up…” “Hmm…what is it?” “Shoot!” and then I have to frantically look around for what is coming up when.

Find me a bed! Preferably a Queen or above, and in the price range of $100-500! Anything from IKEA is acceptable, and please, nothing in gray. Gray is boring.

I loooove IKEA! I’d love to be personal shopper for the day…any compensation? ;)

I have no clue if I’m allowed to post this here, but: [SF bay area free stuff classifieds “mattress” - craigslist](<a href=“SF bay area free stuff "mattress]SF" - craigslist”>SF bay area free stuff "mattress" - craigslist)

It’s just so hard when I work Monday-Saturday 7 to 5:30 and I can’t even make the phone calls I need to make to figure out what is going on, then the offices are closed by the time I’m off and I have homework to do anyway . . . like MrOblivious said there are so many deadlines, combined with current semester deadlines and then everything else in life like paying bills and signing kids up for summer camp and their crazy schedules!

Glad I’m not the only one.

I (sort of) envy u guys. It seems like not having a job causes like a sense of laziness that spills over onto my schoolwork.

sometimes i wonder if im actually gonna pull all this shhit off… like its gonna take some oceans 11 shhit

…

Ewww @ ikea. Too cheap.

For me, I have too much to do with work, clubs, interning and volunteering. Then when it comes to studying and homework I always say “**** that” and put it off. Very dangerous for my grades. D:

@Dude: exactly…when I had an internship even it seemed like I was more focused on school.

Most of my ‘stuff to do’ consists of pulling off decent grades in my current batch of classes. I should never have taken 8 courses in one semester…(on the other hand, one year transfers FTW!!!)

I feel the same way! Ahh it’s stressful but hey we made it this far. We got this.

Also, watch out if your planning on getting a free mattress. They could have bed bugs! No bueno.

@ciao: Of COURSE there’s compensation! You can buy however many hotdogs and swedish meatballs you want in the food court!

And to whoever said “ewwww @ IKEA”: HOW DARE YOU!?!? IKEA is a store run by learned doctors! They have a wonderful bedding department! Ranked 1st in the Nation! What is your precious Cal ranked!?!? 3rd!? 4th!? Ha!

Pottery Barn > Ikea

Ikea has become too mainstream. I was into Ikea in 2001… I just went to Ikea a month ago to look for a desk and… ehhhhhhh

I’ll be ordering an industrial task table because of how predictable and cheap Ikea’s desks are.

And I am not “whoever,” I am EmpathyInAnarchy, poster of 800+ posts. covers half of face with cape, laughs maniacally

Pottery Barn is pretty tight! But PB has been trendy for a few years now, also!

But alas, there is both a PB and an IKEA about 10 minutes from Berkeley, so perhaps we can duke this out on the mean streets of Emeryville!?

EmpathyInAnarchy…you were into Ikea in 2001? D:

are you sure youre 15?
