Does anyone else find the New SAT cuves SOO Random

Is it just me or does it seem like the curves for the New SAT are always so different and always so random. Its Very discouraging. On my first try I got a 680 CR, 770 M, 760 W. On the next try I got a 750 CR, 720 M, and 690 W. I mean this is just absurd!!! 100 points better in CR, 130 less in writing!!!! Then when I got the test back I checked the Curve and it was WAY different! It makes it so hard to try and do better when you know you might just get a HARD curve!! I hate this New SAT. what do you guys think?

while i know it may be frustrating, you are in awesome shape.

most colleges mix & match scores, which would give you:

750CR, 770M, 760W = 2280

That score is acceptable anywhere. I wouldn't complain. :)

It doesn't mean that the curves are random, it just means your performance wasn't consistent.

There is a curve on that thing now? SAT inflation...

Bluealien, there has always been a curve on the SAT. The "curve" is what they use to convert a raw score into a scaled score of 200 to 800.
