<h1>1) What are some the highest paying jobs in caribbean financial institutions? how much do they pay (in American dollars)? and what are the hours like (relative to in the US)?</h1>

<p>Would there be plenty of wealth mgmt jobs due to all the offshore banking? Then again maybe the banks are just headquartered in places like the cayman islands but all the staff are still located on the mainland?</p>

<p>that’s what i’m wondering. i mean, obviously, it’s something that could be done on the mainland. there have to be pretty qualified people working at the off-shore centers, of course, but the real brains could definitely be all on the mainland.</p>

<p>but then again…</p>

<p>why would the “real brains” turn down an opportunity to work in the cayman isles in favor of chilly NY?</p>

<p>Can’t be of much help, but man, I couldn’t bear working in finance down there. It would kill me not being able to be outside all day, lol.</p>
