Does anyone here play DDR?

I'm just kinda curious. It doesn't seem like that many people play on college campuses...or maybe they're just being low-key about it. How about people on CC?

I don't play at school but I do in my house (or i started again recently for diet..) I'm thinking about taking it with me to school next year but, i don't know.... some people probably play it

i don't really like it but i heard a lot of college kids play it and have tournaments

YESSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ddr is my life! i love it so much. why ever do you ask btw?

I don't but it seemed pretty popular in the dorms. Not as popular as Guitar Hero but still pretty big.

Guitar Hero seems to be one of those fads, and DDR is certainly more popular than that.

I used to play (at the Heavy level of course), but then I kind of grew out of it. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHOULD YOU PLAY DDR IN COLLEGE.

lol y do you say that?

In dorm rooms at least Guitar Hero was MUCH bigger than DDR. Arcades would be different of course, but they're dying out anyway.

edit: Also, you will get made fun of for DDR, but not Guitar Hero. I've only played GH a couple times, though, and DDR once or twice.

Yeah, Guitar Hero can be pretty big in the dorms, but it really depends what dorm you live in. It was pretty big at my place around Christmas time last year, but the fad died down in January.

DDR in much bigger than Guitar Hero in general though, since you have a lot of Asians playing it at arcades and stuff, trying to do those weird moves and whatnot.

Please do not play DDR in college...well not in open sight...

I play it on the down-low for workout. It's so much more fun than running 2 miles on a treadmill; and a half-hour of DDR a day will get you a six pack in no time. I prefer DDR to Guitar Hero if only for the health benefits.

HAHAHA!!!! jaja! very very funny.

All Asians are obligated to play DDR.

lol @ playing DDR.

I actually have not seen Guitar Hero in the dorms, at all. It's getting rather popular although I think it's even more of a fad.

A few more questions to fuel the thread:

Does anyone actually have a machine on their campus? Or an arcade? I think UCLA has one right off campus and am admittedly, envious.

Does anyone have thoughts about SuperNova2?

-UF has an arcade equipped with DDR machines...theres also a bunch of bowling lanes, pool tables etc.
-No clue what that is

There is a DDR machine at the arcade here as well. (Umich)
