Video Games in college

I will be going to college next year, most likely a middle tier UC, not sure if it matters. Anyways, I have an Xbox 360, and I was just wondering if alot of people play video games in college. I'm not one to get hooked on games or anything, but I wanted to know if I should bring it or not. Thanks

if you think you will use it, bring it. There will be other people who play video games.

yeah i have the exact same situation. just got an xbox 360 (was afraid that i'd break something with a wii) and i was afraid that it would cramp my social status, especially in no-privacy dorms.

I dont have a 360, just a ps2. I brought it, but I only use it to play NCAA Football. I also play a TON of Halo 2 on my friends' XBOXes. My rule of thumb is that I wont play single player games, just multiplayer ones, that way I can game and socialize.

I'd bring the 360, Halo 2 LAN is a religion in college dorms.

there will be people who game all the time. bring it.

Just about everyday I see some FIFA and Halo parties going on in the guys' rooms on my floor.

Even if you don't bring yours, someone will be guaranteed to bring theirs.

Haha, thanks guys, I will definately bring it. Hopefully it doesnt get stolen, I guess I'll engrave me name or something.

def. bring it

What about Guitar Hero?

I don't think I could survive without it in college.

I know several people that have GH here. Actually, my roommate got it for Christmas so now I have it in my room too!

Games like Guitar Hero, and the Wii (not a game) would probably be fun to have in college. Sadly I have neither.

Guitar Hero is very popular on my floor. Very.

FIFA, Super Smash Bros., and Mario Kart 64 also get a lot of playing time. Nobody had a 360 at school, so I've been putting in a good amount of time on my brother's while I've been home on break.

guitar hero IS THE $.H.1.T!!!!! it's ddr for stoners, i absolutely love it. yah people play video games, but don't be like one of those losers who subsitutes it for getting laid, playing WoW 22 hours a day.

Haha, hell no. But I do know what you are talking about, it reminds me of that southpark episode

My brother brought his playstation 2 and gamecube to school with him (and his psp and gameboy) and when the wii came out, he and his friends all camped out on launch day to get it. So, my point is that yes, there will be people that play video games and yes, you should bring it.

I brought my modded xbox and I play it sometimes. However it is an entire entertainment system since it's modded. In my fairly nerdy dorm, plenty of people game. In the lounge there are about 5 game systems and people are always playing, even at ungodly hours. Super Smash Brothers and Fifa are definitely the biggest games.

I had my XBox all through undergrad and loved it.

Trust me, a good number of people play video games in college.

y do ppl look on video games?
but dont bring it if it will distract u from work or other social events
