<p>Drew is affiliated with UCLA's medical school, and is mainly focused on urban medicine and increasing the # of underrepresented minorities in the medical field (it is located in the Watts area, near USC). They had some accreditation problems with their teaching hospital a few years back, and the whole program appeared to be in danger, but UCLA seems to have righted the ship with added investment and attention. From their website, I was surprised to see that Drew does offer a few undergrad programs - I thought it was a strictly graduate institution, like UCSF. </p>
