I been told alot recently that alot of students that go to SMC end up getting transfered to UCLA. Does anyone know the rates or why it is so? (Like a partnership or something?)

Here is the website of the Community college, Santa Monica College, and on there it even says '#1 in transfers to UCLA' right on the top of the home page.

High gpa kids are extremely successful in transferring to UCLA from SMC. Call the Counseling Center and ask 'em.

Do you know if its possible to work a deal with UCLA, like if i get accepted to there, but financially i cant afford it, am i allowed to hold the acceptance until to years then go?

i would suggest you contact a ucla counselor as well as ask these questions to your smc counselor. make sure you keep documentation of everything they tell you. i’ve been getting screwed over by UCLA counselors lately so watch your back.

but for what it’s worth a lot (like at least one person) in every class i have taken at UCLA has said they transferred from SMC (of course not counting the freshman only courses i took my first year)
