I heard this French (i think) is located either on shattack or very near Shattuck. The name starts with an S i believe and was something like "sharp"... i forget... but i heard u need to wait about a month even after reservation. does anyone know of this restaurant??

Chez Panisse

Oh really?? How sure are you of this? Not that i dont trust you, but i just want to make sure....Why did u think it was this restaurant?

Because it's on Shatuck, and usually takes 1-2 months to get a reservation. It's french, and you're probably confused as you pronounce "chez" shay.

Hope this helps,

I definitely agree that Chez Panisse is the restaurant in question.

It's quite renowned. It has a website, the name without the space .com -- check it out.

Chez Panisse: uber famous.

alrite, thanks a lot guys

oh, and chez is pronounced "shay"?

Yes, it's french. :)

It's pronounced "Shay Pa Neez"

You can sometimes get into the cafe part of their restaurant for lunch without waiting a month for a reservation.
