Does anyone remember this question from Dec SAT I?

There was a math question:

Something like, "If the first number is prime, the second number is also prime.." Something like that. But then it gives u groups of two numbers, and you must choose which one disproves it.

Does anyone remember the exact question?
That one really bugged me as I swear there were two plausible answers.

Thanks.

erm i dunno, didn't take it. i do know the first row of prime numbers but i'm afraid that's where it ends...lol

The answer was 61,63

I forgot the question, but it was similar to what you said.
There was only one possible answer.

Could this be the question you look for?

Which of the answers below lists a pair of numbers that makes FALSE the following assumption:

"The odd number following a prime number is also prime."

A) 91 93
B) 61 63
C) 41 43
D) 21 23
E) 11 13

Answer B)
An explanation: 61 is a prime number, but 63 is not (it's divisible by 3, 7, 9, 21). So 63 is the odd number following a prime number that shows the odd number following a prime number is NOT NECESSARILY prime.

Answers A and D do not make the the assumption false because 91 and 21 are NOT prime. The assumption can only be tested when the first number is the pair IS PRIME.

Answers C and E do not make the assumption false because 41 is prime and so is 43, so it backs up the assumption that the odd number following a prime number is also prime. Same with 11 and 13.

math is easy. worry about verbal.

Wow Xiggi, how did you remember that?
Did you take the Dec. SAT I?

Nitinrao, I think the OP just wanted to know the problem to see if he got it right or not back in Dec.
He might not even be taking the Jan. SAT.

As for the assumption that math is easy, worry about verbal. That statement is an opinion. You may be strong in math, but weak in verbal. Others may be weak in math.
If a person had an 800 V and a 600 M, and they said "verbal is easy. worry about math." How would you respond to that?
Everyone has different weaknesses.
