I'm the only person I know out of all my friends that watches it, even if I only know a few answers. Then I'll go wikipedia stuff I don't know. Who said TV doesn't teach you anything? :p

i do,
i can only answer a few
but when i know the answer, i jump up from my couch and start screaming at the tv
:)

I watch occasionally by haven't seen a real one in a while.

I saw a high school edition recently and knew 90% of the answers. I guess it was easier than the normal one.

I loooove the teen tourny one. For the regular one I can probably answer 1-3 q's.

I'm considering to try out for the teeb tourny...

LOL I love Jeopardy and usually know like half the stuff they ask - but my FAVORITE is Who Want to be a Millionaire - -- - - -- -aaaaaaaaaaaah i would absolutely PWN that show. Their questions are easy...

I love watching Jeopardy and answering the questions alongside the contestants. Who Wants to be a Millionaire is almost as good, but I would hate being on it, because all the pop culture questions (i.e. TV shows) I would fail miserably at. Jeopardy lets you skip them.

Go to the Jeopardy website and check for Teen Jeopardy auditions. You can do an online test and qualify for auditions. S did it last year, qualified, chose the city where he wanted to visit a couple of schools and killed two birds with the same stone when he went for the audition. Didn't make it to the finals, but it was cool watching some of the kids in the audition that did make it, on TV in the Teen Tournament.

^Oooh cool!

Its one of my favorite shows.

I watch it almost every night, and usually pwn. 8)

I do. I usually can answer about 30% of the adult questions and 95% of teen questions. College is somewhere between there.

I've the trick, however, is not being able to answer the questions, but buzzing in. I know two people who've been on regular Jeopardy--my English teacher, who lost, and a family friend, who won 5 games (at the time, it was the max) and went on the Tournament of Champions later. Both of them have said that they almost always knew the answer, but that it's all about who has the fastest "trigger finger." The ToC guy said that rather than studying for questions, he just practiced buzzing.

I FREAKING LOVE JEOPARDY!

I thought i was the only one!

I watch it when I have time (read: close to never now), but I love love LOVE the teen tournament. I'd like to try out for it but my parents probably wouldn't let me.

I wreck Jeopardy.

Though I didn't make it onto the teen tournament last year. Fail.

teenage_cliche: If you make it past the first test, NYC is one of the audition cities.

The Spanish teacher at my school was on Jeopardy many years ago but lost because-

a) Her buzzer didn't work for one of the final questions even though the camera could see her buzz before the others

b) She got the final jeopardy question correct but wagered nothing because she had a better chance of winning if the others got the question wrong
