I applied for TAG and got it, but I am going to finish with only 58 units after the spring semester.

I passed the AP Euro test with a 3. And I heard that I would get credit and still be qualified for TAG because it would bring me over 60.

Can anyone confirm please?

the UCOP site seems to imply that it has to be a college class held at your JC. [University of California - California community college transfers](http://www.universityofcalifornia.edu/admissions/transfer/requirements/community-college/index.html)

but you need to ask a counselor.

The AP units will count. If you printed out your TAG overview after you finished the TAG application you would see that your AP scores are listed under “Courses & Exams Satisfying UC Eligibility Pattern”

Basically, the AP units give you credit for ASSIST certified courses which count toward the 60 unit minimum.
