i got a 28 on my act and have a GPA of 4.28, what are my chances of getting scholarship money/ financial aid.
Also, does auburn have automatic tuition waivers based on students ACT/SAT scores and GPA?

@skittlebug my daughter had a 29 ACT and a 4.0UW. She received 8k/year from Auburn. Hope this helps
Looks like you would be awarded some money this year if you met the AUSOM deadline (Dec. 1) - amounts vary for instate vs OOS. See:
http://www.auburn.edu/scholarship/undergraduate/freshman.html
Scholarships are for fixed yearly amounts, Auburn does not do tuition waivers for the general applicant pool.
If you are a junior, consider retaking ACT as scholarship award levels about double every additional 2 points.
