I got accepted into Barnard Bound 2018, and I am really excited. Though I am excited, I am nervous about actually being accepted to Barnard. I am going to apply ED to Barnard (I love the college so much), and I want to ask does this increase my chances at all?
Did anyone get into Barnard Bound and get rejected from the school? Or know of anyone that did?
Also, does anyone know the admission rate for Barnard Bound 2018?
We got accepted to Barnard Bound as well - I talked with the counselor and he said there is no priority given in admissions for BB attendees. Other schools like Amherst say upfront that the acceptance rates of their fly-in attendees were significantly higher. However the counselor did not wish to comment on acceptance rates for BB attendees.
So I don’t know - but my feeling is since they selected you for BB - you are at least one step closer. I don’t have any evidence however.
