i'm considering applying to some prep schools but i'm not sure whether it will hurt my chances to apply along with my twin. if one of us was slightly smarter or had better chances than the other, would it hurt our chances to apply together? do schools want twins? any insight would be awesome.

Schools usually have special tuition rates for a sibling from the same family. I’m sure any school would welcome twins, but they will still consider each application on its own merits. Apply to several schools, and if you want to go to school together, then you choose one that accepts both of you.

hey there! I also have a twin that I’m applying with. Her grades a little better than mine, so I thought that would help me out, but my SSAT scores are significantly better than hers… I was a little worried that this would bring me down. I know a couple other twins who applied to Loomis, and one of the girl’s scores were much better than the other, but she helped the other one get in even though the school only wanted her. Just make it clear to the schools that you and your twin would be fine going different places!
