I was wondering if being from a rural area had any bearing on your chances for admission? Also, do schools take into consideration that no one from your particular school has attended or even applied there?</p>

<p>They would consider how it affected what kind of opportunities you had... but I don't think it wouldn't directly affect the decision</p>
<p>You would add diversity at many institutions, so your background would be seen as a plus.</p>
