I'm an OOS student, so it's been really tough to find transferrable courses to fulfill Berkeley's eligibility requirements. I thought that it might be easier just to do online courses from a CCC because the CCC's have the IGETC courses marked, there's assist.org, etc. Right now UCB wants me to take like 4 or 5 English courses b/c their method of evaluating R&C comp forms is messed up... whereas CCC students only have to take 2 English course.

Do you know if Berkeley will accept credit earned this way? If they did, would they look down on it, so to speak?

But they’d probably figure out they were taken online. I’m taking a normal schedule of classes at my current school, so unless I commuted by private jet… can’t attend two different schools at once haha.

Of course I’m going to call Berkeley to confirm, but I was just wondering if anybody had taken distance learning courses and was accepted to Berkeley/knew their attitude towards them.
