Does Cal consider ECs as an important part of admissions?

<p>Quality over Quantity. A laundry list of EC’s don’t mean anything unless you elaborate on the activities’ significance. If you have one good extra-curricular, even if it isn’t pertinent to your field of study, that affected your lifesomehow, you should write about it in your essay. The personal statements give EC’s the potential to be roughly equal to GPA and SAT scores.</p>
