Does Cal have just an EE program that you can take instead of EECS?

If so, how does it compare in terms of admissions? Because i know EECS is incredibly hard to get into. Is EE easier?

There is no EE major outside of EECS (unlike for CS in the College of Letters and Science).

Could you help me comprehend this page, then?

[Degree Programs | EECS at UC Berkeley](Academics | EECS at UC Berkeley)

From what I’m understanding there are three different programs, the ECE (closest to what I was referring to above), CSE, and EECS? or do I have it wrong?

ECE and CSE are suboptions within the EECS major.

All EECS majors have the same lower division requirements. For upper division courses, students choose courses appropriate to the suboption they want to study.
