Does Carnegie Mellon have Aerospace Engineering?

<p>So my friend just graduated with a BS in Mechanical engineering and wants to get into aerospace (astronautical) engineering. We were talking the other day and he was talking with some concern about Grad school. He has been excepted into Carnegie Mellon's Dual Masters of Mechanical Engineering/Masters of Engineering Management program. He has also gotten into GA Tech, PSU, EmbryRAU, U of Mich, and U of Maryland for Aerospace Engineering. He really likes the idea of getting is masters in management but really wants to get into aerospace. When he looked he couldn't find a degree from CMU for Aero. Is it under another name?</p>

<p>I figured all of you guys could help him out. He is not sure what he should do.</p>

<p>He also got into UCLA and u of cal. for aero as well. (He applied Everywhere! Jeez!) haha</p>

<p>There is no Aerospace Engineering program at CMU. Even the M.S. in Mechanical Engineering has no specialization in Aerospace Engineering. If he wants that joint masters Engineering & Management degree, he may want to look at Michigan and probably Georgia Tech.</p>

<p>But why does CMU not have an aerospace engineering program? That just amazes me. Such a good school and they don’t have a program.</p>
