so i was eating some milk chocolate earlier, like every other second of my waking life. and i noticed, hey, chocolate is not that tasty. if you think abou the flavor its sort of bleh. anyways i was wondering if anyone else thought this.

anyways i just kept eating it because it was awesome.

Haha....it actually does taste pretty bad. I used to hate chocolate, no joke, I wouldn't touch a brownie, fudge, I only ate chocolate chip cookies. And I still hate chocolate milk. But I'm okay with eating brownies now.

I really didn't start liking chocolate until like a year ago...maybe 2.

Yeah, eating chocolate as an everyday meal will dull it's tastiness. I guess it's the same as if you ate the same item every dinner...soon enough, it's gross.

I love dark and semi sweet chocolate. And dark chocolate is good for you too! (its an antioxidant).

yeah. milk chocolate can taste pretty bleh. i like hot chocolate and chocolate chip cookies and chocolate chip oatmeal cookies and brownieeees and chocolate chip muffins and chocolate souffle and chocolate truffles and chocolate ganache and chocolate croissants and chocolate chip bagels.

anisha, and any other dark chocolate people, La Maison du Chocolat has a 100% cocoa chocolate that is divine. Extremely bitter, yet flavorful, if that makes any sense.

White chocolate is... eh.
Dark chocolate is cool. I think I've actually tried that La Maison du Chocolat. I bought a bar in Vancouver, Canada. It was bitter, but I still liked it. And as anisha said, it is good for you (compared to milk chocolate and whatnot).

i think it depends on what type of chocolate you're eating. i mean, i love andes mint chocolates. im not such a huge fan of hershey's bars. in fact, i think they're bad tasting. over the summer, my french girlfriend told me that american chocolate tastes disgusting. she said that its because of the way its made (hersheys, peanut butter cups...) and that the more pure and more refined french and european chocolates are better. im inclined to agree, especially with lindt, godiva, baci, and all of those french and belgian chocolates...... just my two cents.
