I’ve been number one in my class since sophomore year, so it’s not like I have to care about it that much.

I have no class rank. >:^D

@hkobb7 LOL, that’s probably going to be the most gratifying thing about graduation. I don’t know how many times i’ve heard one of my classmates admit they want to curse out at least one of their old teachers at the ceremoney. Maybe they want to crash their own graduation?

I wouldn’t care, except for the fact that the number 2 student thinks he’s going to beat me out. :)

So it’s really just friendly competition. I’m only shooting for valedictorian for fun.

I care more about test scores and AP Classes in my school because many of the people in the top 10% are there by studying A LOT and memorizing facts but they get o.k SAT/ACT and AP scores (1800-2000 or 25-31)

I think it matters to me. Although everyone who has a 4.0+ GPA is given a valedictorian speech (somehow, only 6 or so are vals every year), I feel that having the top spot will make me look better to colleges. Our class is fairly small, with 271 kids. I’m at 1/271, but I believe it is shared as of right now. But yeah, it really matters to me. I kind of have this issue in which I HAVE to be the best or one of the best.

It kinda matters to me since it would be nice for my personal satisfaction of accomplishment and for my family.

But in reality, it really doesnt matter since technically my school doesnt rank but we still have the top 20 although idk why they didnt announce them yet.

But i would not care if was in the top 20 or not because
- my grade is mad competitive
- in order to be in top 20 in my grade, you basically have to take a bazillion AP classes and get a 99 in every class EVER due to the abundance of gifted kids who get a leg up in this situation.
Err!! =(

Top 5%, other than that I really don’t care.

Sure, but not enough for it to motivate me.
