<p>CS has better job prospects than any engineering field right now. But, by the time you graduate it could basically change.</p>
<p>From my own experiences CS currently has the best job prospects and the best salary potential. This could change in the next few years, but there’s so much unfulfilled demand for CS grads that I suspect opportunities will continue to be great.</p>
<p>Fantastic job prospects. At my college’s engineering career fairs, pretty much every single company needs CS majors. Almost all of my friends get cool internships over summer and have a full time job lined up well before they graduate. On top of that, it’s a respected degree so you could easily branch out into other careers.</p>
<p>With that said, I wouldn’t recommend choosing CS over another discipline because of job prospects. You either like computer science or you don’t.</p>
