Does Cornell Consider Electives in GPA?

Ok, I was just wondering if anyone knows if Cornell admissions include elective classes like Ceramics and Intro to Computer Programming in their gpa. Because if they don't, my gpa goes up literally .2. Thanks.

aren't those the courses you should be getting 4.0 in?

but yes they use whatever your high school transcript's unweighted GPA says, Cornell doesn't recalculate a different GPA.

Ugh, you would think I would easily get a 4.0 in those classes, but it is sadly not the case. I was forced to take an art course for school requirements, and I apparently do not have the skills to sculpt things with clay! It is now my lowest grade at a B, not to mention its the only non-AP...

Yah I got a B in one of my art classes. Cornell will consider w/e data your school provides. My school only provides percentile ranking and does not consider electives.
