Does Cornell give a full ride to household incomes <$60,000?

I've read somewhere on this site that all Ivies give a full ride (tuition only?) to students who come from a household with income less than $60,000...is this true?

And does that cover both tuition and housing or just tuition?

And is this only for transfers/freshman/or both?

this is correct

i’ve heard this policy isn’t true for transfer students? actually i’ve read it on the columbia transfer financial aid website if i remember correctly.

columbia has more restrinctions for transfers. however, cornell gives full ride. you gotta pay around 3000 from summer every year , and you have to work there (work-study) the rest is grant. Also, keep in mind that if you dont have insurance, you will be required to pay for one, and if you don’t have a scholarship to cover for your self help (work-study+ loans), you will have to pay it by working or more loan.

Is this in terms of Total Income or Net Income?

i guess total. email finad@cornell.edu and ask. they are friendly

is this for international students too?
