Does "Downloaded" mean the same as "Submitted"

<p>next to my colleges on the common app it says "Downloaded: 12/31/2010" next to section where it says application. there is also a green triangle next to all my colleges. so I guess I was wondering if the word "downloaded" meant the same as "submitted"??</p>

<p>downloaded means that your college has downloaded your common app off of the website, submitted means they haven’t yet.</p>

<p>Other wording that flummoxes me is “completed”. If it says that next to my supp for instance does it mean that I’ve submitted it or what? I thought I hit submit on the supp page, but it isn’t being forthcoming with any sort of confirmation. Am I going to wake up tomorrow and find out that for some ■■■■■■■■ reason I didn’t get my app sent in on time?</p>

<p>yes dont worry youre fine, the important thing is to submit by the deadline and thats what you did. downloaded is for the colleges but youre good u did ur part</p>

<p>Gahhh, I submitted my apps a little late for my colleges. Right now, some of my apps say downloaded. But for most of them, it just says submitted, even though the supplements and whatnot say complete.</p>

<p>Are my apps not gonna be considered?</p>

<p>And if it says an app is downloaded, will it be consideredd 100% for sure? Even if it’s late?</p>

Can anyone please tell me if downloaded means It has been reviewed by the University or it just means they have downloaded it and will review it any time soon? Thanks.

Downloaded means that your Common App has been transferred from the Common App server to the school’s computer system. That does not mean necessarily mean that any person has seen it yet.
