Does Duke really care about our AP results this year?

I have a feeling that two of them, AP Comparative Gov. and AP Physics C, won't be turning out too hot. I'll PROBABLY get a 3 on the Gov, but Physics...yikes. I'm walking out of the E&M section along with half my class and we're going to be tremendously lucky to scrape by with a 3, but it's very possible that we're simply going to fail.

This doesn't have the same repercussions that doing poorly in a class would, right? I'm not even planning on using physics credit in college in the case that I do pass. I'm not unduly worried about my other two APs, I should be able to get 4/5 on each of those, it's just physics and gov that are slightly worrying me...our school's physics department is dismal and has a very low pass rate traditionally despite our high grades (our teacher doesn't even have a degree in physics) and this is our teacher's first year doing comparative gov, so we had a lot of time problems.

It's ok, I guess. You just won't get credit for it.

I'm just making sure that's not grounds for "re-evaluating" our applications, considering that'll be very different than most years' AP results for me.

Duke doesn't look at AP results period except to decide which credit you should get. So yeah, they don't really care.

yeah, they're not going to kick you out because you'll be taking one more course at their university (and paying them more money :) ).

holy crap, cc kids are paranoid
