<p>I am a current transfer student and had a last minute change in heart to double major in economics. I have completed micro/macro and plan on completing the full calculus series and stats by the end of the fall, to apply for the major. The only course I am worried about is getting into Econ100. I heard Cal doesn't enforce prereqs, but that "some" courses/instructors do. If anyone could shed some light on this subject, I would really appreciate it. </p>
<p>Have you had at least a semester of calculus (Math 1A or 16A or equivalent)? If so, then you can take 100B without worrying about doing poorly due to not having the prerequisites. 100A requires Math 1B or 16B. Note that 100A is not a prerequisite for 100B.</p>
<p>Ahhhh I overlooked that! Yeah, I will be good to go, thanks @ucbalumnus … Pretty horrid reviews for the 100B professor, unfortunately. </p>
<p>Econ 100B is okay, Professor Wood is not that bad since he actually puts effort into teaching. He’s just a little boring though…</p>
