<p>I submitted FAFSA about a month ago to meet the priority deadline at my school, which was March 1st. I just finished my taxes though, and since I didn't work but half the year last year, and I worked all year round in 2011, it would be in my best interest to edit it. My question is if I edit it, will it just update or resubmit altogether? I don't want to miss the priority deadline. Thanks.</p>
<p>Your original submission date is the date that counts. Editing won’t change that.</p>
<p>You do have to sign and submit your fafsa after updating it in order for the schools to see the changes but that won’t wipe out the original submission date.</p>
