Does anybody go to UCSD who would know this?
She is listed as a “Professor Emeritus” on their website, but does she ever teach classes? even like once a year?
I thought she lived in New York, but is she involved in UCSD at all?
She’s such an amazing artist!
Edit: also she’s really old, so I’m skeptical.
She’a female, so it’s Professor Emerita. 
Someone with more knowledge of UCSD can speak about her current involvement, but I would assume it’s minimal. She will, however, be appearing at Yale later in the month:

Lol maybe UCSD is lacking in their latin abilities, but more likely its as to not draw distinctions between male and female, as gender has no impact on teaching ability, she is listed as “professor emeritus.”

One of the terms is more likely an error by the web designer, since it goes onto say:
But actually, she seems to use the gender-neutral term herself, so I will just stand corrected.
