I really want to go there but i was wondering if because of its Jesuit status it has a dry campus?

depends on which campus

the LC one is not a traditional campus so there isnt a frat house where people all drink from kegs. There are some room parties. its in NYC so there are plenty of clubs and bars you can go to and NYU dorms are much more lenient and there are plenty of them lying around and i'm sure you'll meet NYU people and can go to their parties

Jesuit schools can party. Look at Xavier and Boston College, they are full of drunks :)

as someone who goes to the rose hill campus, I can answer this question..
people party all the time... tuesday, thursday, friday and saturday are the big days.. most parties and occur in off-campus apartments and in nearby bars (all you need to get into the bars in the bronx is your school id.. they let anyone in).. its an amazing time off campus, however, a little dangerous of course (just use common sense). There is drinking and partying somewhat on campus but the RA's are pretty strict and you can get in big trouble-- better to keep your partying off campus. Plus, you have manhattan only 20 min away.. there are endless possibilities.
