<p>Hello! Ok, so I want to pursue a career in musical theatre, and I live in Florida. I have done research, and basically it shows that FSU is the number one school in Florida (and one of the best in the U.S.) for theatre. However, I do not want to get a BFA in MT. This is for two reasons: 1. I don't feel I would be accepted, I haven't been training all of my life like some people. 2. It (as most of you know) is very hard to get on Broadway, Off-Broadway, or any acting job that could support you. Instead, I want to get a degree in something else as a back-up and get a minor in voice. If you have any experience with FSU could you tell me: does the FSU Theatre department hold open auditions to all students, not just theatre majors? Thanks!</p>
