<p>How important is it to do well on these tests....or is it just for class placement? I won't ever have to take another chemistry class in college so why do they test in chemistry?</p>
<p>It isn’t important. The FTCAP scores just serve as a guideline for when you schedule. Say you place into College Algebra and you need to take Calc 1 for your major. You can totally disregard the recommendation and just schedule Calc 1. Its up to you.</p>
