I’m consider attend UCR or UCSC with double majoring in stats and cs, and I’m sure that I want to go to graduate school to another UC(like berkeley or davis for statisitcs ms) after 4 years, so does going to UCR look bad in graduate admission because of the school brand game even I receive 3.5gpa with some research experiences(assume), or should i go to ucsc with computational major with some research experience.
If possilbe, does which school (ucr or ucsc) undergraduate student more likely to get into berkeley or davis, or it’s nearly unpossible.
Nope. Maintain a high GPA and graduate admission test score at either UCR or UCSC and you will be able to go wherever you like.
No—it’s a University of California degree.
You can go to podunk u no ones heard of and get into Harvard graduate school if you play your cards correctly.
Seriously. School “prestige” is not a factor in most cases.
