risingsakura, i'm international. all the classes i take are mandatory

do all international students have to take all these AP's??(I'm sorry to sound ignorant...)

nope, don't think so, but in my school (in Romania) everybody has to take them

where does one draw the line between : lying, and tooting your own horn?
and also, how can you say I've been doing say first aid club for 3 years because I thought about it for the first two years and ACTUALLY did it the third year? Is that the way people think or is that just NOT NORMAL .. because if everyone is filling in their apps that way, I promise you .. I see a change in the admissions game in the very near future

So you're taking 30 APs per year? In essence, you're covering every science, history, language, and other miscellaneous topic all over the course of this year?

person above^,

i started the club and have been doing very productive activities in it. i was just saying that i didn't start it at the beginning of the semester. people check 12 for swimming/any spring sport all the time.

obviously, 15 AP/semester=15APs/year...most AP's are year-long...or maybe not...i dunno.

question r.sakura / anyone : if you check lets say 9th, 10th,11th,12th for say swimming and you only did it 9th, 10th 11th: won't they ask you .your coach for some times or something or is that only if you apply to become a recriuted athlete? .. if you don't apply as a recriut then do thry just look at ie as any other activity ie. awards and such and your times aren't that important to them

i have been doing sports every year(sometimes fall, sometimes spring) but i never even listed them under my EC's.... I just did for fun, not for college or anything. but mostly it was because i never excelled in them...

I just don't know since when did I make myself the person of "questionable integrity".

no no no you got me figured out wrong man lol :) .. sorry if it seemed that way.. I just asked because you posted somthing which I had heard of before but I was like "yah right". I'm real sorry if you think I was "questioning your integrity" - I'm no judge and whatever other people do is none of my business - heck whatever floats your boat

say that robotics club starts second semester(no i'm not in it), how is it wrong to check off 12th grade? It's not...

sigh ----- are you asking me or eveyone?

So basically you're picking over one semester???

"I'm no judge"
