I'm currently taking 3 aps (APUSh, lang, bio) w/ physics h and precalc h. I'm also in 2 clubs and will be wrestling my 1st year (if I decide to). Do you think not wrestling would hurt my chances of getting into Vtech? And how important is a sport to college admission? Would balancing grades and a sport look better or having the best grades but no sport.

For very selective colleges, people who “participated” in sports are a dime a dozen. The bonus points are for kids who were team captain, state or nationally ranked, or were on the US Olympic Team, etc. It makes a stronger case to the adcoms the higher you’ve gone. The same thing, BTW, applies to those clubs you’ve joined; “member” just doesn’t go very far at selective schools.
