<p>I took both AP Physics C courses last year (got 5's on both). Now I'm enrolled in AP Physics 1 as a senior at my HS, but counselor is trying to say I can't get credit for it. I get that C is based on higher-level math, but some of the topics in 1 were not covered, for instance sound and electrostatic.</p>
<p>Yes. AP Physics 1 is meant to be an intro level physics course, if you have already taken AP Physics C, it is below your level and therefore shouldn’t be able to be taken. Its similar to taking algebra 2 after calc BC. No one would or should let you do that IMHO.</p>
