Does it hurt to take both SAT II math exams since math is my strength?

and should i take two other sat ii tests (total 4 sat ii tests) to fulfill the 3 subject tests requirement at most prestigious colleges? they say you should take just either one of the math subject tests and taking two does not count as 2 separate and different tests.

Just take the math IIc (only). Your other sats must show a variety.

Yeah it would be rather pointless, IMO, to take both math tests even if you get 800's on both [which obviously is nice], but you really aren't showing much of a variety. Rather take a nice selection of tests to show your well-roundedness and choose among Literature, History, Sciences, and Foreign Languages, and since you're good at math I'd figure one of the sciences will be perfect for you, so really pick any of the remaining ones for your third. I mean that's what I did, and I think that it worked, and yes I would definitely recommend that IIc over the Ic, but that's just more of my favorite.

Just take the IIc. Do you really want to take both of those things?

I agree - you definitely want to use the SAT2s to show some breadth.

Take the IIC. IC curve is bad. I think you'd look pretty dumb taking both, for all the reasons already listed.

I know I've read on some apps that they only want one type of math. So yeah, take the second Math, which IMO is easier because of a) better curve and b) easier material (none of those impossible geometry problems)
