I took the sat the first time in june and got a score of 1120, I recently just retook it this month (october) and got 1310 which Im not completely satisfied with so im planning on taking it again in December. Goal is to get about average
Would it look bad since its all in the same year? Im a senior planning to apply at uci and 4 other csu. I was just wondering because I didn’t know that UC’s wants all of the sat scores not just the highest
If you can improve your score by 100+ points, the benefit will far outweigh any detriments from a third test
I don’t think you really have anything to lose from a third try.
do colleges look at the improvement of your SATs and stuff? do they care about that at all?
No personal knowledge, but certainly a school that requires you to submit all your scores (not just the top one) is drawing some conclusions. They could be thinking that you are showing improvement simply by getting better at test-taking. They could give you points for perseverance and improvement.
