<p>Think about it: would it have been so difficult for many of those people who took 2 subject tests to have taken another? No. So what does 3 tell them about you? That you're willing to go "beyond"? That you enjoy a challenge? I doubt they look that much into scores. Subject tests are used more for weeding out applicants, I think, as in making more obstacles to jump over, than for serious consideration of you as an applicant. If another subject test were to make you more "competitive," it would be by a very small fraction.</p>
