does jhu's admission office actually record number of calls?

<p>i've heard that applicants should try and call the admissions office to show interest in the school. but how does this actually help? do the people in the admissions actually ask you for your name and record how many times you've called?</p>

<p>"Johns Hopkins does like to see that a student is interested in attending our University, but does not track the level of contact the students has had with the institution nor factor demonstrated interest in the Admissions review."</p>
