<p>I'm going to do a medical internship at a hospital in the summer and I'm currently a senior in high school. I was wondering if medical school considers any work or volunteering done the summer before the freshman year of undergrad</p>

<p>I think anything done after high school is fair game, so yes.</p>

<p>Yes, they do. The summer before you matriculate as an undergrad is fair game - I put my major activity that summer on my AMCAS.</p>
