Because I signed up to take one that I expect to totally fail...like, get a 1 on.

I was going to self-study, and then didn't. And while I'm going to take the test anyways just to see how it goes (I was taking a college prep version of the class), I don't expect it to go too well.

If I were to do okay to good on 2 of my AP tests, and then receive a 1 on the other one, would Michigan consider rescinding?

AP exam results are yours to share. Those you ace may earn you some credits, those you don't do well in will be discarded. Universities will never rescind an offer based on poor AP exam results.

yeah good thing they dont. I failed my two ones that I took already : P. It's sad. My stats teacher went to Michigan and during class we had a party and he looked at my grades and he was like "How the hell did you get into Michigan?" : (

so even if UM asks u for ur AP marks (doesnt say a specific mark) on ur acceptance letter it is only to see if u can earn credit for it right? im just scared cause i dont think ill do well on my AP Phy

The AP Physics exam is massively curved each year, because people do extremely poorly on it annually, so I wouldn't stress out too much.

Furthermore, chances are that UMich will not request an AP score. I've yet to hear of it being done, and am dubious of it being done with you or others for that matter.

If it does not specify marks, then your offer isn't conditional, which means your AP results will not affect your status. Of course, try your best to get 5s and 4s that way you can come in with some credits.
