Does not submitting your AP scores truly hurt you?

All in the title.

Any comments will help greatly.

I would like to know too. Bump.

Colleges will say no; you decide. If you took 10 AP class, submitted only two 5’s and a 4, there might be problems imo.

I doubt anyone will know the true answer.

just don’t submit any

My high school didn’t offer AP courses, so I only submitted one score, a 5 on AP Literature, to compensate for low English grades.

I agree with the advice that if you’ve taken a significant number of AP courses, the number of scores you submit should be nearly proportional to the number of courses you took.

Regardless, AP scores play a negligible role in college admissions: unless, of course, you have taken 10-12 of them and earned 5s on all of them.

don’t you just self-report them for admissions?
